Welcome

Community Action Dacorum is a local charity that provides a circle of support to the community. As a council for voluntary service, Community Action Dacorum believes in bringing people together to achieve more in their communities and improve quality of life.

We do this by supporting local voluntary organisations and community groups at the early stages of development and beyond by providing support, funding advice, representation and a payroll service to enable them to grow and flourish. We aim to provide a voice for the local voluntary and community sector and bring groups together to share skills, expertise and develop a collective voice.

In addition to the support provided to local groups we also deliver a number of direct services and projects that support local individuals, businesses and community groups. These include a Community Transport Service, Connect DacorumHerts Interpreting and Translation Service, Hemel Hempstead Shopmobility and Paradise Furniture and Training.
