DEEP.COM

The European Commission spends a lot of money on the development of innovative educational material, methods and courses.  Unfortunately, many of those innovative products never reach their target groups.  DEEP.Com is a multilateral project formed to change this situation.  It is funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme, Key Activity 4: Dissemination and Exploitation of results.  The Consortium consists of ten experienced organisations from the educational and business sector, combining their expertise for the project.  Partner countries represented in the project are Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and UK.  In addition to our own involvement, Merseyside Expanding Horizons from the UK is also a partner.

The partnership has met four times in the first year of the project and has been effective in delivering of the project work plan.  The project website has been launched, click here and this along with the first newsletter (click here) details the progress made.  The project idea of creating a market place for training courses and products has been shared face to face with over 5,000 across Europe and to around 23,000 through partner and project websites.

Involvement in this project is helping increase our marketing and European project knowledge and  provides a route for income generation for training course materials we develop through our training courses.  We are leading the project Evaluation Working Group which has played a key role in the smooth development of the project.
