Community Wellbeing Social Enterprise Innovation Fund (SEIF)  - Herts CC have launched the second round of their SEIF.  The Fund offers investment of up to £10,000  for new social enterprise businesses.  To learn more about the SEIF visit the Herts Direct website.

 

.The Cooperative Community Fund

Grants of between £100 - £2,000 to community, voluntary or self-help groups to run projects providing long-term benefits to the community, supporting co-operative values and principles that are innovative in approach.  Application forms are available on line and can be submitted at any time.  For further information click here

 

Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme

The Trust runs two funding schemes - 1. Community Awards (£500-£4,000) which provides one off dontations to local projects supportint children, their education/welfare, elderly people and adults and children with disabilities.   Applications for Children's Education and Welfare can be made between 1st May and 30th June and between 1st Feb - 31st March or 1st August and 30th September for adults and children with disabilities. 2. Larger Grants Scheme (£4,000 - £25,000) which support local, national or international projects in areas where Tesco's operates.  Applications should be made online via the website.

Door to Store - our new community shopping service for Bovingdon and Kings Langley launched on 13th May.   Aimed at older people who have a disability or experience difficulties in using public transport to go shopping our new Door to Store service will pick you up from your home and take you to Sainsbury's in Apsley Mills.  For further details or to book your place please email Deborah Fogden or call 01442 253935.
